Custom player skins manager with support for v1.0 and v1.8 skins and inventory skins selector

This mod version comes with 8 pre-installed skins. To install more,, consult the instructions in the README.md.

You may as well add skins manually:

  • character_[name or number].png for skins available to all players or
  • player_[playername]_[name or number].png for private skins available to the specific player
  • (optional) A preview picture (photo) for inventory skin view can be added to the textures folder, named [same_name_as_skin]_preview.png If no preview file is in place, skinsdb generates one from the skin file.
  • Optional: Add a metadata text file for inventory skin details view to the "meta" folder, named [same_name_as_skin].txt with the following contents:
